The Beginnings

The Community Center "TIA KIKI" responds to a parent's request, given the emergency situation and real risk that children were immersed in the community since there was no institution to give response to the need for company for their children, who were left alone while they worked.

From Fundación Emmanuel, we are aware of the difficulties that come with combining paternal and maternal tasks of parenting and daily jobs. Mindful of this, we created the center, a place of love and care, with people willing to lend a hand.

We have:

- Childcare for children from 45 days.
- Workshops on social inclusion: educational, musical exploration, artistic and social-recreational expression.
- Psychosocial counseling for the child and family.
- Support to families in difficulty
- Accompaniment to the family crisis.

Methodology

The "Timely intervention" allows us to:

- Identify gaps in the development.
- Diagnose imbalances in the growth.
- Anticipate irreversible malfunctions, but preventable.
- Identify and promote their development potential.
- Prevent malnutrition - undernutrition.
- Take care for children with special needs.
- Provide a nutritional plan according to each child.

Thanks to this, we:

Avoid:

- Delay in development and pathologies that are installed may be avoidable.
- Supply circuit dependency of families.

Accomplish:

- To promote a harmonious growth from the reality of every child
- Promoting lifelong learning and family role
